This size is most common in the building & construction industry, is perfect for residential conversions, refurbishments and landscaping projects. It can be used for all light and heavy waste types and can hold approximately 70 black bin bags, 16 wheelie bins or 4 sofas. On excavation projects an 8 yard skip can hold roughly 8 tonnes of inert and can be exchanged multiple times in the same day.

Where to place your Skip?

Skips can be placed on a public highway if the permission is obtained from the local authorities or on private property such as a front drive. If you are unsure please enquire and we can obtain the suspension/permission or provide the contact details for you to do so yourself. Some councils will only deal with clients directly.
