Ordinarily, an 8×4, 32-tonne lorry will provide a perfect solution for the removal of waste and supply of material. In cases where a full-size lorry cannot fit, we offer a 4×2 grab lorry which is known as the “mini grab”, “small grab” or the “baby grab”.

Due to its smaller wheelbase and cab, the turning circle is dramatically improved and the height and width reduced. For projects within a mews, a tight street or close to a width restriction, the “baby grab” is an ideal solution.

4×2 mini grab hire still offers a crane, with a bucket which lifts waste or places material in the same way a full-size lorry operates. The total weight that can be removed or delivered is 9 tonnes. The body has an optional dividing plate which means we can deliver up to 4.5 tonnes of two separate materials and then remove 9 tonnes of waste in one visit.

Ordinarily, we can provide Mini Grab Hire on a next day basis. We can charge per load or per day and operate 7 days per week. Night work is also available for utility companies and local authorities. We take great pride in our fleet of lorries and all are maintained and cleaned regularly. Our state of the art tracking system means we can monitor, adapt and communicate with our staff regularly, ensuring we can remain efficient and responsive.

As registered carriers of waste with the Environmental Agency, we collect waste materials and dispose of them in compliance with current regulation at fully licensed recycling centers. Our Grab Hire operators are fully licensed, trained, experienced and insured.
